In a few months’ time, Skipper will be opening the gates to a new platform called Les Robins. Although these “robins” will not be in the forest, they will be surrounded by forested areas, to preserve biodiversity 🌳 The platform will have a BREEAM Very Good rating, guaranteeing its energy-efficient construction and consumption levels. By supplementing our existing seven logistics platforms in Drôme-Ardèche, Les Robins will deepen our regional roots there. With its premium services and its temperature control (59-77°F), it will be positioned to accommodate logistics for outstanding French cosmetics, wine, fine foods and cutting-edge technologies.

- Permitted to store 700 metric tons of flammable materials, particularly to manage logistics for perfumes and 150 metric tons of aerosols

Temperature-controlled and permitted to store flammable materials and aerosols, Les Robins has been designed to store your products under the best possible conditions and to allow for the efficient management of our clients’ B2B and B2C logistics. Combined with slow logistics trucks that transit to your production sites (like our L’Occitane x Skipper double-decker semis and our trucks running on XTL fuel made from recovered frying oil), Les Robins will be a hub for outsourced logistics.
In addition, our transportation outsourcing solutions (low-carbon and urban logistics, plus express, chartered and overseas shipping) will allow us to handle the logistics and transiting of cosmetics and perfumes to drug stores and major chains, bottles of wine to networks of wine merchants, fine foods to local stores, and the list goes on.
This premium platform will also feature dedicated e-store personalization workshops, where our order pickers will take care of e-commerce packages, with gift boxes and tissue paper but also green packaging and returnable boxes to enhance the ethical side of our slow logistics.
